Rescue 1 is a 1993 Chevy truck used as the primary extrication vehicle. It has a XX Watt onboard generator, stationary and portable hydraulic pumps, and two 100’ hose reels.

Rescue 1 is the first vehicle out on all extrications and will respond to building collapses, confined space rescues, mass casualty calls, and aircraft accidents. It carries Holmatro Rescue Tools, including two cutters, two spreaders, two rams, and a combi tool. It also has various hand tools, high- and low-pressure air bags for lifting and stabilization, synthetic and wood cribbing for stabilization, and hydraulic rams for stabilization.
