The John Deere Gator is co-owned by the Pennington County Firefighters’ Association (PCFFA) and PCSAR. It is used during parades and the Central States Fair by the PCFFA. It can also be used during large fires and other incidents as a transport/support vehicle.

PCSAR uses the Gator during rescues and searches. It is equipped with a Med Bed for patient transport.
